Privacy policy

Petronus Realty is a real estate channel partner. We introduce buyers and tenants to projects marketed by developers, and we are paid a commission by the developer on a completed transaction. For the purposes of data protection law we are the data fiduciary for the information described below. Our contact details are at the end of this page.

We collect two kinds of information.

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form, request a call back or contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we collect:

• Your name.
• Your phone number.
• Your email address, where you provide one.
• The message you write, and the listing the enquiry came from.
• Anything else you choose to tell us during a conversation, such as your budget, preferred localities or timeline.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting and infrastructure providers record standard server logs when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.

• To respond to your enquiry and to send you property options that match what you asked for.
• To arrange site visits and to introduce you to the relevant developer.
• To keep a record of the advice we gave and the listings we shared, which protects both sides if a question arises later.
• To operate, secure and improve this website.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations where they apply to us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Developers. Acting on an enquiry usually means registering your interest with the developer whose project you asked about, because that is how a channel partner introduction works. We share your name and contact details for that purpose, and we will tell you which developer when we do it. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will advise you without registering the introduction.

Service providers. This website runs on third-party hosting and uses a managed database to store listings and enquiries. These providers process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for anything else.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information where we are required to by law, a court order or a regulator.

This site uses only the cookies required for it to function, such as the session cookie that keeps an administrator signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this section before switching it on.

Enquiries are kept while we are helping you and for a reasonable period afterwards, because property decisions often restart months later and the history is useful to both of us. If you ask us to delete your enquiry we will do so, except where we are required to retain a record. Server logs are kept for a short period by our infrastructure providers.

Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete your information where we have no continuing need for it.
• Stop contacting you, at any time and for any reason.

Email us at info@petronusrealty.com and we will respond. There is no charge for making a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Administrator accounts are password protected and sessions are signed. Uploaded images are stripped of their embedded location data before they are stored. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

This site is intended for adults considering a property transaction. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
